Practice Schedule

Practice times are 3:15 PM on Monday, and 2:45 PM Tuesday through Friday.  Practice usually lasts between 1 hour and 1.5 hours and generally follows the following schedule:

  • Monday:  Hills
  • Tuesday: Intervals
  • Wednesday: 400s
  • Thursday: Long run
  • Friday: Short run
  • Saturday: Race
  • Sunday: Rest or long run

It is never too late to come out for cross-country. You'll need at least 10 practices before you can compete, however.

    Racing Schedule

    The first day of practice starts July 26 @ BEHS in the main foyer. The following racing schedule is subject to change, so double check with the coach if you are unsure.

    • August 12 - UAF 2K race @ 10 AM
    • August 18 - Birch Hill @ 12:00 PM
    • August 26 - Birch Hill @ 11:00 AM
    • September 2 - Palmer Invite TBA
    • September 9 - Delta Invitational @ 12 PM
    • September 15 - Salcha Trails @ 5:30 PM
    • September 23 - Regionals - Birch Hill @ 1:00 PM
    • September 30 - State - Barlett @ TBA
