While watching the Olympics we saw an Adidas commercial showing the 1960 Olympic Trials race for the 100 meters. Luckily, we recorded it and was able to show my mother-in-law. Sheran Benerth (my mother-in-law) took 4th place in this race just missing the 1960 Olympic team. Oh, and the person at the end of the clip is the famous Wilma Rudolph who went on to win three gold medals in Rome.

Just recently Sheran Benerth traveled to Illinois to receive an award (her college letter). While there, she was asked to give a speech and a good friend was wise enough to record it.
